Blast from the past, Rave from the grave

Was one h#ll of a record. I believe it was a bootleg but it still rule. A lot of obscure songs on that one like Lynn Pratt's Come Here Mama. Real Honky tonk music at it's best up tempo C & W songs rule over all else at this moment. There is an awesome amount of up tempo C & W songs recorded in the 1940's, 50's and 60's. After that C & W became sh#t. I have been listing to a whole lotta old C & W songs this week with artists like Faron Young, Ferlin Husky, Bill Lister, Benny Barnes, Johnny Horton, Harold Jenkins, and the C & W recordings of Jerry Lee Lewis. Who is an vastly underestimated C & W singer he does an excellent version of Cold Cold Heart among others. And his C & W hits Another Place Another Time and What Made Milwaukee Famous are equally excellent songs. Many in todays "Rock 'n Roll" scene seems to don't appreciate old classic C & W but instead play that Punk/Psychobilly crap. But I wanna throw a punch for old classic C & W music which is a corner stone in Rock 'n Roll!, And as added bonus I will throw in some C & W music
FERLIN HUSKY

FARON YOUNG

BENNY BARNES
